STPT - SOCIETATEA DE TRANSPORT PUBLIC TIMISOARA
VISUAL IDENTITY | USER INTERFACE
This is a visual identity proposal for the official public transport company of Timisoara (RO) - STPT: Societatea de Transport Public Timisoara. The company has recently changed its entire identity - from name to color palette, logo, and website design - and I took it as a challenge to create a version including a range of improvements that could help both the company and the people to a better experience.
* The project is personal and was not made in collaboration with STPT Timișoara or any other related companies/clients.
I started by creating the logo, suggesting the idea of motion and direction through form and colour.
I used a representative shade of purple which symbolyses the city and can be found everywhere throughout the streets.
I showcased variations of it in monochrome on different backgrounds. When applied to an image or coloured background, the logo should always be used in one of the black and white versions for it is much more clear and precise.

I created basic materials necessary in promoting and maintaing the company's image in all customer interactions.

I built a landing page, including a "search journey" section, a simple menu and buttons linking to the most relevant pages of the website.
I used custom-made illustrations and icons of the trams and buses in Timișoara and I added vector icons of important landmarks in the final design.
MOBILE APP CONCEPT & DESIGN
STPT doesn't currently offer a mobile-friendly solution for people trying to find out information about their buses or plan their journey and the only applications provided in the app store are outdated and unreliable, as they were built by volunteer designers and programmers.
By using the primary color palette and a light and easy-to-use interface, I built the main page of a mobile application that could be part of citizen's daily lives and could instill more trust in STPT by prioritising the needs of the people.
